Sacred Vrat Katha (Full Narrative)
In ancient times, a childless Brahmin couple devotedly prayed to Lord Shiva. While gathering flowers for worship in the deep forest, the Brahmin was bitten by a serpent and collapsed lifeless.
His grieving wife sought refuge in Goddess Parvati. Appeased by her devotion, Parvati revealed the 5-day saltless Jaya Parvati Vrata with Jawara worship. The wife observed the fast with pristine dedication. On the concluding day, Goddess Parvati sprinkled divine nectar over the husband, restoring his life and blessing them with a righteous son.
