📖 Sacred Vrat Katha (Full Narrative)

Nirjala Ekadashi, also celebrated as Bhimseni Ekadashi, is the most austere and rewarding fast in the Vedic calendar. Pandava prince Bhima, unable to endure frequent fasts due to his voracious digestive fire (Vrika Agni), was advised by Sage Vyasa to observe a complete waterless fast on Jyeshtha Shukla 11. Observing this singular vow grants the accumulated merits of all 24 annual Ekadashis combined.
